AIRMAIL was made during an one-week workshop with Barry Purves at the National Film & Television School in 2009.

This was my first time animating traditional cut-out. The doll is made from fabric glued unto black card with threaded joints.
The assignment was to have the character sit in one corner and let something drop in on the other. The character had to go to the object but how depended on a slip of paper you got. Mine said: "someone on ice".

The style of this animation inspired my trailer for the London International Animation Festival.
